  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. In a saucepan, combine pecan halves, corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter. Cook over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the cream cheese mixture in the springform pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cheesecake.
  10. Remove the sides of the springform pan and let the cheesecake cool completely.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
