Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, pulse the pecans until finely chopped.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the brown sugar, honey, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Gradually pour the warm butter mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly.

Stir in the chopped pecans.

Press the shortbread crust into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Pour the pecan filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges are golden brown.
