Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 peeled, cored, and chopped Pears
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the chopped pears and walnuts.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
