  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in the sliced almonds.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Arrange pear slices on top of the batter.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
