Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 1/4 cup Chopped peanuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the sour cream. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the cake has cooled, frost it with the peanut butter mixture. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
  9. Let the cake rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Enjoy!
