In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
