Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Chopped peanuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Allow the cookie cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve.
