Ingredients
  • 2 cup Peaches
  • 6 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup White sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  4. Arrange peach slices on top of the brown sugar.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. In a separate bowl, cream together 2 tablespoons of butter and white sugar.
  7. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  8. Gradually mix in the flour mixture and milk, alternating between the two.
  9. Pour the batter over the peaches in the cake pan.
  10. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
