Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.

Arrange peach slices over the batter. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle over peaches, then drizzle with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
