  2. Peel the plantains and slice them lengthwise into thin strips.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the plantain strips on the bottom. Top with the ground beef mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
