  • 1 pound Chicken
  • 8 cup Chicken Broth
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Carrots
  • 1 cup Celery
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 cup Potatoes
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cup Egg Noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, combine chicken, chicken broth, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it. Set aside.
  3. Add carrots, celery, onion, and potatoes to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour with a little water to make a slurry. Slowly add the slurry to the pot, stirring constantly.
  5. Add shredded chicken and egg noodles to the pot. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. In a small pan, melt butter. Add salt, pepper, and parsley. Cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Pour the butter mixture into the pot. Stir well.
  8. Let the soup rest for 10 minutes before serving.
