Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Pie crust
  • 2 pound Apples
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until well coated.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the pie with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling.
  7. Trim and crimp the edges of the crust.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes before serving.
