Ingredients
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Slice and serve.
