  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into small pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream.
  9. Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a layer of the cream cheese frosting on top. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
