Ingredients
  • 24 ounce Oreo cookies
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup Oreo crumbs
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Crush 12 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  7. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
  9. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  11. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
  12. Crush the remaining 12 Oreo cookies into coarse crumbs.
  13. Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the cake. Sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
  14. Place the second cake layer on top and repeat the cream cheese and Oreo layers.
  15. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
