  2. In a large bowl, combine the orange cake mix, orange gelatin, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and orange juice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once the cake is cooled, spread the whipped topping evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the orange zest on top for garnish.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour before serving.
