Ingredients
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1.5 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • 0.75 cup Orange juice
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 4 unit Orange slices (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and orange zest.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the orange juice, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar and garnish with orange slices.
