Ingredients
  • 2 unit Oranges
  • 1.5 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Dark chocolate
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  8. Once the cake has cooled, spread the melted chocolate over the top.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and orange zest. Drizzle the mixture over the chocolate icing.
  10. Let the icing set for 20 minutes before serving.
