  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon Root beer extract
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Boiling water
  • 8 scoop Vanilla ice cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, root beer extract, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, cut the cake into squares and serve each square with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
