Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • optional for dusting Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, melted butter, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg, milk, and vanilla extract together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Top with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
