  2. In a large bowl, mix the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  3. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling.
  7. Seal the edges of the pie crusts together and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
