  6. Spread half of the Fritos corn chips in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Pour the beef mixture over the corn chips.
  8. Top with the remaining corn chips and shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Serve the Frito Pie hot, topped with sour cream and sliced green onions.
