Ingredients
  • 2.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Ice water
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture.
  3. Use a pastry cutter or your hands to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough comes together.
  5. Gather the dough into a ball, flatten it into a disc, and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit your pie dish.
  9. Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pie dish and trim any excess.
  10. Fill the pie crust with your desired filling and bake according to the recipe instructions.
