Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the butter, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs to the bowl. Mix until well combined.

Grease a muffin tin and pour the batter evenly into each cup.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool for 10 minutes in the tin, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the cakes with powdered sugar and place candy eyes on top to resemble mummies.
