  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the carrot and potato to the skillet and cook until slightly tender.
  5. Return the ground beef to the skillet and mix well.
  6. Stir in the frozen peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into circles to fit the size of your pie dishes.
  8. Fill each pie dish with the meat mixture and cover with the puff pastry circles.
  9. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the pies with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  11. Allow the pies to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
