Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Pie Crust
  • 6 large Apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted Butter (cubed)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the apples with cubed unsalted butter.
  6. Roll out the remaining pie crust and place it over the apples.
  7. Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust to seal.
  8. Cut a few slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
