Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture, alternating with the crushed pineapple with juice. Stir in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.
  8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
