Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Pie crust
  • 2 cup Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. Crush the Ritz crackers and sprinkle them evenly over the pie crust.
  4. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, cream of tartar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the mixture over the Ritz crackers in the pie crust.
  6. Dot the top with butter.
  7. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm or cold.
