In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter in half. In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, espresso powder, and boiling water until smooth. Stir the cocoa mixture into one half of the batter. Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Spoon alternating dollops of the vanilla and mocha batters into the prepared Bundt pan. Use a knife to gently swirl the batters together.
