In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press onto the bottom of a greased 9-inch pie plate.

Sprinkle chopped pecans over the crust.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread over pecans.

In another bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Spread over cream cheese layer.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and whipping cream. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly, then spread over pudding layer.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.

Before serving, garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional pecans if desired.
