  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and peas to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  4. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste. Simmer for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into circles slightly larger than the size of your muffin tin.
  6. Line each muffin cup with a puff pastry circle, pressing gently to fit.
  7. Fill each pastry cup with the meat mixture.
  8. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
  9. Cover each pie with another puff pastry circle, pressing the edges to seal.
  10. Brush the tops of the pies with beaten egg.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
  12. Allow the mini meat pies to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
