  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork and beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the potato, carrot, celery, thyme, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out one pie crust and line a 9-inch pie dish with it.
  7. Spoon the meat mixture into the pie crust.
  8. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust to vent.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
