Ingredients
  • 4 apple Granny Smith apples
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoon Water
  • 2 sheet Frozen puff pastry sheets
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel, core, and dice the apples.
  3. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the apple mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add water and cook for another 5 minutes until the apples are tender.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  8. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto one half of each square.
  9. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and press the edges to seal.
  10. Use a fork to make small indentations on the edges.
  11. Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  14. Serve warm and enjoy!
