Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Water
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and sugar until well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mayonnaise mixture, alternating with water.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
