Ingredients
  • 800 gram Potatoes
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 100 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 10 gram Parsley
Instructions
  1. Peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the milk. Heat until warm.
  3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the mashed potatoes.
  4. Gradually pour in the warm milk mixture while stirring.
  5. Stir in the grated cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Grease a pie dish and transfer the mashed potato mixture into it.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve.
