Ingredients
  • 250 gram Macaroni
  • 200 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 50 gram Parmesan cheese
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the grated cheddar cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add the eggs. Cook for 6 minutes for soft boiled eggs. Remove from heat, cool under cold water, and peel.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix well.
  8. Transfer the macaroni mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  10. Serve the macaroni cheese with soft boiled eggs on top.
