Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.

In a large bowl, mix together Malt-O-Meal cereal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
