  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, oil, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the grated carrots and chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. In the meantime, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  10. Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
