In a large bowl, mix the mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.

Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the berries with small pieces of butter.

Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the berry mixture.

Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust.

Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
