Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 2 unit Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 100 gram Ground almonds
  • 1 cup Raspberry jam
  • 50 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and ground almonds, mixing until well combined.
  5. Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  6. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll out the remaining dough and cut into strips. Arrange the strips in a lattice pattern over the jam.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow the cake to cool completely in the baking dish.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
