  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Coconut oil
  • 0.75 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 0.75 cup Boiling water
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the boiling water while stirring the batter.
  6. Grease a cake pan and pour the batter into it.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
