Rinse the lentils and cook them according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a food processor, blend the onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Add the cooked lentils, olive oil, and lemon juice to the food processor. Blend until the mixture forms a thick paste.

Transfer the lentil mixture to a bowl and stir in the breadcrumbs. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Shape the mixture into patties and fry them in a pan with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
