  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until butter melts. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the milk mixture.
  4. Add the milk mixture, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  5. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  6. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Grease a cake pan and transfer the dough into it.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  11. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
