Ingredients
  • 250 gram Pie Crust
  • 500 gram Blackberries
  • 150 gram Sugar
  • 30 gram Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 number Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  4. Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut into strips.
  6. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie with the pie crust strips.
  7. In a small bowl, beat the egg with milk. Brush the egg wash over the pie crust.
  8. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours.
  10. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the pie before serving.
