Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix well.

Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.

Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust.

Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut into strips.

Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie with the pie crust strips.

In a small bowl, beat the egg with milk. Brush the egg wash over the pie crust.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours.
