In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, crushed tomatoes, and kidney beans. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Spread half of the Fritos corn chips in the bottom of a baking dish. Top with half of the beef mixture. Repeat the layers.
