  1. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut the unsalted butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture.
  3. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.
  5. Divide the dough in half, shape each half into a disk, and wrap them in plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Roll out one disk of dough on a lightly floured surface to fit your pie dish.
  9. Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pie dish and press it gently into the bottom and sides.
  10. Trim any excess dough and crimp the edges.
  11. Fill the pie crust with your desired filling and bake according to the recipe instructions.
