  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, dissolve the JELL-O Black Cherry Flavor Gelatin in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Add cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir well.
  7. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  9. Slowly pour the gelatin mixture over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
