  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup halfway.
  6. Place a tablespoon of Nutella on top of each batter-filled cup.
  7. Top with more batter to cover the Nutella.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
