Ingredients
  • 6 ounce Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 can Pineapple slices
  • 1 jar Maraschino cherries
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in an iron skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar. Place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the pineapple slices in the skillet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  9. Carefully invert the skillet onto a serving plate.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
